After compiling a few potential ideas based on the data recorded by the sensors, Anise takes charge again with the situation on the bridge.
"How are we looking? Are we going to be able to put up any kind of fight should our 'friends' out there decide to restart the game of hide-and-seek?"
She made her way back to the center chair and checked a report on a PADD that was presented to her on the damage control efforts, and felt ready to deal with more problems associated with their current situation.

Anise sat puzzled in the captain's chair, as she thought on how to execute a potentially risky plan that, if successful, had a good chance of inflicting serious damage on the opposing ship. However, a key in the execution of the plan required the enemy's sensors to still be down and their main weapons to also be down.

As Teshur, and Yuna flanked him he called up the ships sensors and ran a multi level scan on the area the boy pin pointed.
This can't be right. I'm picking up millions of life signs in that area. Practically every square inch of acreage. Not plant life, but.....well biological life readings.

As the three of them use the console in the mid half of the ship, Victoria takes Botai to the cockpit area. She sits him in the co Pilot seat, and turns to him.
Tell me Botai, why do everyone seem to not want us around?
Because, most of them were members in the Maqui. They will never forget how even after the war they were treated as enemies.
I can't debate you on this, but I can say this. There was a right way, and a wrong way of doing things. Although they said they did the right thing.
None the less, that don't change what is going on on the Davidson plantation.
Well going there and getting your Butt shot off won't help. What would your mother say to that?
My mother is dead. It's just me, and my father.
And where is he?
He bows his head in shame. He was captured by Davis goons. I got to rescue him.
We will help you. But we need more information what you found out.

The Boy spins a tale about how this strange crop that they started Growing on the Davis land shortly after the visits of the Romulan, and a Plumish skin male. Nothing suspicious about the plants until he saw that this plants seem to be able to move. They also tend to group themselves in threes. His father would bring one home to study, and found them to be a complex biological life form, with some rudimentary intelligence. They would grow them for 5 weeks reaching hieghts of 6 feet tall, and then harvest the crop. But never replant, they just keep growing back. One time he snuck on the compound, and found them Harvesting the plants to a huge underground compound. They would process them and extract a clear greenish fluid that he overheard one of the workers call Protoculture. And store them in huge underground tanks. And ever 3 months a ship would come, and beam the entire cotents up.

She flanked Redman on the left as he ran scans on the abundage of plant life ahead of them. once Redman reported that he wasn't picking up plant life but biological life forms, millions of them, She turned a surprised look at him "My. goodness. What sort of biological life forms?" She inquired
As she waited for his answer, she thought the time was right that the Crusader should be coming into range, actually should have been in range a couple hours ago. She and the AT should have heard something from them. She decided to call them to see if she could while the boy was explaiining things to Redman and Love "Lt Tremayne to Crusader, please come in. Do you read?" She paused a few seconds only thing she ehard was silence. She tried again "Lt Tremayne to Crusader, please respond." Another few seconds pass and nothing "oohh" She said, fairly much to herself, a concerned look on her face

"Plenty, ma'am. That beam they shot us with has a nose for warp plasma. If the shields had not have been up, we would've taken a direct hit to the port nacelle field grill, based on our movements at the time we were hit. I have a suspicion that it also likes matter/antimatter reactors, given the fact that as soon as we ejected our core, it sent out a massive EMP wave. I'd need to confer with Chief Mintos on this, but if it hadn't been ejected, it might've had a cascade effect, resulting in our destruction.
I have an idea, based on the sensor telemetry, but it's risky... It would involve giving them a fresh coat of 'paint' using some of our warp plasma. My guess is, if they were to fire off that beam with their hull coated in some of our warp plasma, it would have the effect of consuming their ship, much as it nearly did to us."
She hands her a PADD with a report on the details she has pieced together, so far.

Lisiten to Redman report.
Lt.....how far from here are those life sign?
Teshurr now figure this maybe the basic of the new weapon that has been used against the Federation..He see that Tremayne can't raise the Crusader..and now figure if they can't get any help from the Crusader...it would be up to his alway team and those undercover starfleet personal on the planet to put an end to all this.
Tremayne....try to get an subspace coded message to SB140 or any other Starfleet ships in this sector...tell them of our location and what is happen here.
Turns and calls out to Lt. Love....
Has the boy given you anything we can used?

She comes back to the Mid section alone.
Alot. From the story he's telling me, a Zentradi, and a Romulan have been using the Davis plantation to grew some type of Life form, that provides them a chemical compound. Ever 3 months, a ship comes and extracts the contents. From Botai description, I cross refrence the LCARS, the Romulan is R'hipak, Juraans right hand man. I think we hit the Jackpot Commander. But they are holding his father in an underground compound hostage. He provided detailed plans on how we can enter.

Hearing the Commander.
Acording to these readings, they are 6 kilometers to the Northeast. Here is something else sir. I'm picking up intermittent readings. Minute, but none the less, it's Omega.

Raising an eyebrow. Fish Captain?
As the Captain explains, she finds the warpcore, and gets a scan.
It's roughly some 300,000 kilometers off our port bow. It appears intact, and functional.
