She exits her Ready room after the crews Briefing. Seeing Melina at the conn she dismisses her. As she takes a seat in her big comfy chair, she begins. Have all crew on Starbase 140 return immediately. All cargo, and provisions stored, and get permission from Station Ops to depart. |

Her head still reeling from the Revalations she was informed takes her station as she calls up ships systems.
Have all crew on Starbase 140 return immediately. All cargo, and provisions stored, and get permission from Station Ops to depart.
Aye Captain.[/b][/color] she responded with her usual punctualness. She looked to her right, and sees Melina, instead of Vicky. She never worked with hir before, and it seemed strange not seeing Vickies chocolate tanned skin. She gives her a reassuring smile, as she responds to the Captains orders.
Starbase Operations comfirm Captain, we are cleared for departure. Crew is all accounted for. All Cargo is stored.

Vicky exits as she is with Lt Redman head for the Turbo Lift for the Shuttlebay. The trip is relatively short seeing how compact the ship is, they exit into the shuttlebay, as they catch glimpse of the Orion Avatar. You know, I never got to fly this baby yet. Are you as excited as I am? |

Having finished listening to the briefing, she makes her way out onto the bridge, and checks in with one of her security officers who is on the bridge. Checking on the status of the recent maintenance and retuning cycles of all shipboard and personal phaser weapons, she gets a good report, and nods, dismissing the ensign.
She then looked at the captain.
"Captain, all weapons have been serviced and all security weapons have been retuned and checked over. Heavy personnel weapons are also on standby if needed."
She looks over at Yuna, and before she steps into the lift, she blinks and focuses an image toward her of a though she had, which to do on the bridge might not be appropriate, one of a close, tight hug, followed up with a passionate kiss right on the lips.
~You be careful out there, okay? Come back in one piece and alive, and I'll make it worth it to you.~
She had to send it weakly because of the warning sign of a headache, but hoped she got it.
Afterward, she made sure to get the recordings from the concert sent to the captain, Mylantra, and also one to Yuna's quarters.

As the Captain dismissed the meeting in her ready room, Yuna turned and exited the Ready room. She started to go over to the Tactical console but remembered she's with Commander Teshur's team.
She turned and headed for the TL but paused for a few moments, looking over to Anise as she took the Tac station in place of her. Yuna eyes met with Anise as she looked over. Yuna's eyes widened fully in surprise as Anise reached out to her, telepathically, giving her a close, tight, intimate hug and a passionate kiss straight on the lips. She fought not to gape at the Trill woman and not to physically run over there and embrace her. She smiled as she received Anise thought cast to be careful and to come back alive and in one piece, that she would make it worth her coming back ~ You already have, Anise. You've given me a reason to return home, safe, healthy and alive ~ Now, she only hoped that she could keep that promise. With slow steps, she backed into the TL ~ You stay safe as well, Imzadi ~ she thought at her as the TL doors closed
She made her way to the Shuttle bay and got her first look at the Orion Avatar "Does this thing have weapons"? She asked Vicky

Despite her light headache, she smiled a bit at the response, and went back to checking the tactical systems for full readiness.
"Targetting scanners are aligned and ready. Our shield generators are back in working condition."
She stopped after giving her report as she felt the extra bit of the response, and her eyes widened a bit.. Admittedly unsure of what the word 'imzadi' meant, she made sure to check the meaning, but is fairly sure it is something very important for Betazoids to use.
While she thinks on it, she decides to be nice to the shuttle crew, and sends a recording to the Avatar for their pleasure.
Afterward, she decides to look up the word 'imzadi' for some information.

Teshurr is going over a few last minutes things for the upcoming mission.
Candel ...it looks like everything is set....I will contact you once we are on our way.
Then he Taps his comm....
Mr. Redman....have the shuttle ready for flight once I get there. We need to get in and out quickly....Teshurr out.
He then walks over to the Captain and whisper to her.

Overhearing Yuna's query she smiled.
Does it have weapons? We have 6 Type IV phasers arrays as well as 4 Photo Torpedo tubes with 18 rounds. Stacked like a Runabout, but a hell lot faster, and a variable starship in her own rank.

She couldn't help but smile a little as he whispered in her ear. Her eyes darted to the left, and right to see everyone busy. She then whispered back.

Her search for the term 'imzadi' yielded an interesting result. To her great surprise, when literally translated, she found that it meant 'beloved'. Her eyes widened a bit at that, in definite surprise, and realized that things can be leading further. Where they would go was even beyond her ability to guess.
Turning back to the tactical display, she finished her checks and then stood up, needing to stretch her legs a bit. She would start to walk a bit around the back of the bridge.

Her next decision was one she needed to find out. Although knowing Melina was well enough competent of command, she looked at this upcoming mission the test her crew in situations. She stands, and turns to LtJG Shelass.

She was glancing at one of the science station readings when she heard the captain's voice aimed in her direction. Slightly startled, she turns to her as she raises the question.
"Lieutenant. Have you ever taken a starship out of Spacedock before?"
She was really surprised at the question, and fought to keep from stammering. Her surprise was evident by her eyes widening suddenly at the question, before returning to normal.
"Umm.. Never, ma'am."
