Looking to the Commander as she holds the Bajoran boys hand. This is Ro Botai. Seems that one of the locals wanted to do some harm to him
More like Romulan spies! You need to do something other then bother us villagers.

Meanwhile on the Romulan ship.
Commander, the Federation ship is damaged, but we took a hit to our main energizers. We have roughly 6 hours of power.
It will take us 4 Hours to make it back to Denias. We can't let that ship escape with the knowledge of this weapon.
But Commander, it will be atleast another 40 minutes until the primary weapon is charged. If we use disruptors, we will give away our identity.
She frowns hearing this and then looks to him. Then use Torpedoes. Back us off, and send a volley while she is crippled.

Candela was a little disoriented as she came to. She looked around as Mylantra Transported the Doctor , Juliet and Yvette to Sickbay. She shook off the dizziness and stated. "Status report".
She stumbled to her seat. "We need shields and weapons".

She finally finds the captain, and checks her over for injuries and responds to her question.
"We took a grazing hit to the port shields from that weapon. Weapons, shields, and primary sensors are down. It would also seem that our engineer ejected the core before it could overload. It may still be intact and retrievable."
She takes a seat next to the captain, and looks toward the helm.
"Try to find our wayward warp core. Let's see if the passive sensors survived that blast... We may need to use the shuttlebay tractor beam emitter to grab the core, if the main tractor systems are down...
We need to 'recloak' ourselves from their sensors. After we pick up the core, can we make it back to the debris field and play 'hide and seek' with our 'friends' out there?"
Her tone was loaded with sarcasm, as she was not happy with the ship being as badly damaged as they were. She would be happy when either they got out of there in one piece, or destroyed the enemy vessel.

Melina still at helm looks at the Viewscreen. I got it, we can rendevouz and grab it with a Tractor beam. It near a large pocket of debri. We should be able to hide there for awhile unless they fire pot shots into the debris field.

Make it so Lieutenant. Lt Kova dispatch an engineering team to retrieve that warp core, and have it reinstalled. Anise, go over that records about what hit us. Get me a defense, and a plan for attack. These Bastards aren't getting off that easy. I promise you that.
She feels her head, and realizing she is bleeding, she stands. You have the Con Anise, I'll be in sickbay checking up on Juliet, and Yvette. I'll be back soon.
With that she heads for the TL, as she stumbles a bit of the debri from the battle.

"Understood, captain."
She watches as Captain Greene left the bridge, and she went over toward the science station to review the sensor logs. She couldn't avoid an evil grin appearing on her face at the thought of making their enemy pay dearly for what they did to them, and is yearning to give them said payback.
"I wouldn't put it past them to make the effort to finish us off, as I would probably do the same... Stay on your toes... We need to get some of our repairs done before they decide to try to get us again with that accursed weapon of theirs..."
With that said, she starts to look at the logs from what transpired, in an effort to find something that can be exploited.

Sub Commander, the Federation ship has moved into a dense debri field. We can't get a decent lock.
FIRE Before it's too late!
3 Torpedoes fly from the ship but strike harmless bits of debris as the Crusader escapes into a thicket of debris.
DAMN THEM! We have sensors?
Will be a few hours until they are fully restored Commander.
Then we will wait them out. Hold position here, and effect repairs. They will move soon enough.

As she starts looking at the logs, there seems to be one thing in common, but she decides to check every possible commonality to devise a proper defense and method of attacking the enemy ship.
"Curious..." she mumbles to herself as she looks at the data, desperate for a tactical weakness that can be exploited.

He does seem adamant about those Romulans. I performed so scans and Commander....something fishy is going on up there.

Anise continues her review of the sensor logs on the battle, and finds herself humming a tune to help her focus on her task at hand, when suddenly, an idea hits her.
"Computer, extrapolate the trajectory of the weapon that the Romulan vessel fired at USS Crusader. Had the shields been down, show me where the most likely impact point would have been."
As the data comes up, she is surprised at the most probable location they would've been hit.
"Alright... Computer, analyze the energy signature from that same weapon and correlate the following hypothesis: Is there an inverse frequency we can use to remodulate the shields in order to repel that beam without taking substantial damage to the ship?"

Karo materialized in sickbay and got Juliette onto a biobed. He had his head nurse, Colleen McMurphy, get her prepped while put on a scrub top and activated the surgical support fame. His staff was shouting out reports and he tossed off a few order when Colleen looked up.
"Ready over here, Doc!"
After several several tense minutes of surgery he had the bleeding stemmed. He had done everything he could to make sure she'd live and had other patients to treat.
"You can close. Hang another two units of synthetic O2 carriers and 1000cc fluids over the next hour. Make sure I know it anything changes."
He went into triage looking for the next critical patient.
He signed off on some order

She makes it to Deck2, and enters sickbay, where she sees the doctor just finishing up on Jules, and was preparing to work on Yvette.
Will they make it Doctor?

He's quickling reviewing the status of several less critical patients while Mints is prepped for surgery. The doctor was moving quickly from task to task but wasn't rushing. His expression was calm but serious. He glanced at the Captain but quickly turned back to his work.
"We're doing the best we can, Captain. James is stable for now and Mint's is on the table. The EMH is up and running and I'm about to go back into surgery. Unless you're dying, please be somewhere else." His voice wasn't demanding and it managed not to convey any hostility. He was simply asking for space.

Somewhat taken by his tone, the Captain raises an eyebrow, and steps back. So sorry to bother you then Commander. Let me know if there is any change.
With that she takes his advice, and starts to exit the sickbay.
