Deep down, Crio was about to go crazy from the excitement at being able to save comrades. Somehow, that urge was restrained, yet the echo of Brexen was jumping for joy.
"Bridge to Sick Bay, can you spare a medical team to beam over to the admiral's ship to assist with casualties?"
He then looks toward Thorne.
"Open a channel."
Crio would then wait for the familiar sound of the hailing frequencies being opened before he would speak up to address their sister ship.

She sat back, observing the events on the bridge with more of a Counselor's mind set then one of Commander and First Officer. Captain ijoula was doing a splendid job against the Tholians.
When the Captain asked to transmit the message "Expedition" to the newly found Admiral's ship, her curiousity, and confusion, grew but she presumed the message had a hidden meaning
Her presumption seemed true as she watched as the Federation, who had been attempting to pull away from the Tholian carrier, suddenly turn back and make a suicide run, firing multiple torpedos and then banking hard to starboard to avoid them. Eyes wide, she held her breath for a moment, hoping the severly crippled ship would be able to pull off such a maneuver, releasing it a couple moments later as the Federation pulled free in time the Tholian's received several torpedo hits broadside which set off a multiple cascade of explosions leading to it's destruction. In the meantime, the smaller Tholian vessels were being systematically and expertly picked off one by one by N'Thek's unerring skills
The remaining Tholian vessels break off in retreat as the Tholian Carrier bursts into a splendid ball of light, signaling it's final destruction. She could almost sense that the Captain wanted to jump for joy, having been an active participant in rescuing the Admiral and her crew. She didn't blame him, she too wanted to jump for joy, hug the captain in celebration but she did not know how the Captain, and the bridge crew, would handle such reactions so she contained herself with a beaming smile
"Wonderful" She commented "This is wonderful news that Admiral Vanessa Lucifel is alive. It will greatly boost the Fleet's moral and signal the end of the Tholian armada." She hoped

He ponders what he'll say, and nods toward Thorne.
"Go for their bridge frequencies, then, if possible...
Columbia to Federation, Admiral? We are standing by to beam over damage control teams to assist with your repairs, and medical teams to assist you with your medical needs."

The Admiral held on as the Ship took a high Bank. It rocked as it was being pelted by Fire from the rear, but then it all stopped. The Federation recovered, as it came out of the High bank, and soon leveled off, as one last shudder hit the ship from the destruction of the Carrrier. She was estatic as she watched the screen, and made out the outline of the USS Columbia, mopping up the remaining ships. She would then bank a U turn, as the Admiral announced. The Calvary has arrived. Meru, bring us to a full stop. M'Pel prepare for rescue teams, open us a channel Mr Jensen. As the screen flickered she sees Captain Ijoula. His words echos on everyone's Combadge, in ever compartment on the Federation. The Admiral responds. It nice to see someone remembers how to rescue a ship in distress Captain. We will have a team awaiting your arrival. And Captain.....Thank you.

Admirals Log Stardate 66958.57
The Federation is in tow at Warp with the Columbia as we head back to Starbase 140. T'hpok has rejoined the crew, as we repair systems throughout the ship. We won't have a Warp core until we reach Space dock. None the less, it will be a sad day when the Federation departs, for I will no longer be in command. That will fall to Captain Gomez, as I must take command of the 14 th Fleet. I sent a subspace message to my husband Deragon, and my daughter Cassiopia to tell them I am well. Right now I am on the Columbia, to meet with Captain Ijoula, and Captain Suder as I catch up to speed on what has happened. Maybe then I can figure where Brexen is. I know that she has passed away, but only her symbiont would know the meaning of Expedition. Doctor Ogawa has assured me Mr Pradan will make a full recovery, as well as most of the crew. But the real nagging question is what did Q mean, and what does Captain Greene has to do with this, and why he spared my life.

Having gone down to the Transporter Room to greet Admiral Lucifel, he escorts her around the ship, with the final destination being the ready room. Despite Brexen's familiarity with Vanessa, he knew it was best to be respectful when around members of their respective crews.
"I'm glad we could get here in time. The command officers back at Starbase 140 will be extremely happy that you're still with us."
Upon entering the turbolift, he would wait until Vanessa stepped in and the doors closed before he would allow part of Brexen to come through in her mannerisms. Facing her, a dead-on quizzical look would come across his face that is an almost perfect carbon copy of one Brexen would give her when they worked together and a perplexing problem would be presented to them. Brexen's bluntness and tone could be discerned as well as the sense of familiarity.
"Vanessa, what did you do to stir up the Tholians into swarming and attacking you way out here?"
He would then tell the computer to go to the main bridge.

Meeting Captain Ijoula was refreshing. As he gave her a brief tour along the way to the Ready room she was somewhat perplexed. He has something calm about him. Something familiar. I'm starting to wonder if he himself is Brexen.
"I'm glad we could get here in time. The command officers back at Starbase 140 will be extremely happy that you're still with us."
I'm sure they are. Ashley is probably pulling out her hair this moment. I'm just glad that Admiral Gunn, my huasband, and my daughter are safe.
As they stepped into the TL she felt like saying something to determine if it was Brexen indeed.
Vanessa, what did you do to stir up the Tholians into swarming and attacking you way out here?
As an old friend of mine would say, I didn't give them a kiss on the first date. Seems they were waiting for this meeting specifically to take the Federation out of the Game. One last ship to protect Starbase 140. So....how long have you've been joined to Brexen.
Don't worry Captain, I should of figured it , very few people call me Vanessa. I swear Brexen did it because she hated the acronym VJ.

He has a slightly puzzled look at the expression about not kissing on the first date, and has a hard time figuring out how it applies to this situation.
"I'm sure. You mentioned something earlier about knowing how to rescue a ship in distress... I seem to remember you coming to my aid more than once. I still owed you for the last few times you saved my hide when we were serving on the same ship.
While I think about it, I do need to send my report back to the starbase and let them know we're en route.
To answer your question, I was joined, probably about four and half to five years ago, give or take a few days. I was with Brex when she was critically injured. It's.... a long, difficult story, but if you want me to go over the details... I'm sure that can be arranged..."
He would look at her again after his gaze went downward as he fought with his emotions about losing Brexen.
"I'm trying to piece together a timetable of events in order to fully brief you on recent events."

He sighs as he figured that she would ask about casualties.
"Before we left the battle scene at Starbase 140, the Galaxy-class USS Challenger was destroyed as well as the Ambassador-class USS Hampton. We were able to rescue some of the Challenger's crew, including Captain Suder and a handful of others.
As far as I know, we also lost the Cestus shipyards, with surprisingly little effort on the part of the Tholians...
Starbase 140 took substantial damage from some kind of new weapon that the Tholians are employing... This weapon managed to somehow go straight through the edge of our dorsal shields and strike the Hampton. I do know that the starbase's primary reactors were severely damaged. I hope that they were able to stabilize them in time...
I will make the logs available to you so that you can see what happened for yourself, if you so choose..."
He strode out onto the bridge when the doors opened, and made his way toward the ready room.
"Lieutenant Thorne, would you please get me a secured channel to Starbase 140 in the ready room? I need to give Admirals Gunn and Lucifel an update on our situation."
Being gentlemanly and courteous toward Vanessa, he let her walk into the ready room first after the doors 'whooshed' open.

As she entered the Ready Room, she was saddened hearing about the Challenger, and Hampton. Where was the Victoria, and the Constitution? I hope Admiral Morgan made it through this.

He moves toward the couch in the ready room, not usually one to sit at the desk unless there was work to do, as he wanted to very personally brief the admiral.
"The Victoria was involved with the battle, and as far as I know, she survived it. I do not know where the Constitution was at. Although we could have easily used the extra firepower, I likewise hope they're still in one piece. The last news I had heard on them, was they had taken aboard the cyberneticist Bruce Maddox, along with transferred officers from the Cosair, which later joined us in the battle at the starbase.
Personally, I believe that anyone who has to deal with Mister Maddox should get a serious commendation, as he is a remarkably thick-headed, stubborn man who lacks any kind of good manners..."
He carefully watches her facial expressions for anything that might signal that she would need comforting, as a friend.

She grew tired of being in sickbay and she could only do so much comforting of those who had survived the Challenger's demise without the aid of a counselor
Clearing it with the doctor, she went and spoke with the ship's quartermaster and got an assigned quarters among the officer's quarters. Just as she was settling in, her comm badge chirped and a message was recieved that Captain Ijoula wished to see her, and that Admiral Vanessa Lucifel is with him
Smiling, happy to hear that Admiral Lucifel is alive, she acknowledged the messenger that she will be right up
She straightened her uniform, exited her quarters and made the trip to the brigde
A few moment's later, she entered the bridge and Commander Elbrun, the First officer pointed her toward the Captain's ready room, where she walked up and rang the chime
When prompted to enter, she done just that. Seeing the Admiral, she stood at an AA stance, doing her best to suppress a smile. She gave a nod toward Catain Ijoula and spoke "You wished to see me, Captain, Admiral?"
