Not at all. But I served on the USS Magellan for 12 years. I still think the Galaxy Class ships are the crim ala Crim when it comes to amenities. But a brand new ship, and a chance to show my abilities in my field, how could I object. Especially a brand new ship. Look hard enough maybe you'll find a few foam peanuts, and bubble wrap.
He chuckled, figuring it may be a bit over her head.
I'm told Humans in the late 20th Century use to find that with any new purchases. A form of Packing material.

She gives a weak smile to he explanation. As she tries to get over her wonderment.
I find it strange. I just never seen a Vulcan with emotions. May I ask how this came to be?
She asked as their drinks arrived.

She gives a warm smile.
New is somewhat a understatement Lieutenant. Seems we all are the first. Lieutenant Xylia Thorne, Operations Officer. Looks like it's just us four then. The other two are already on their way to the Shuttle.
With that sh motions him to follow her to the Corridor, and into the Turbo Lift.
Shuttle Bay 29.
The doors hisses shut, as the TL begins it's journey.

I served on the Lexington. Sovereign class. Big ship, just seemed I was carrying out alot of responsibilities for being on Gamma shift. Captain Reynolds told me about the Columbia. He said I would be better off a Chief rather then stuck in neutral on the Lex.

He waited in Ops to see Admiral Gunn, hoping to get to the Columbia before long, as he's kinda eager to go aboard.

Sure. He's Trill. Served on the Thunderchild I believe. He's known to have a somewhat cavalier command style. Never likes endangering his crew, or ship, yet still listed as a risk taker. Demands the best from his crew, and very rarely fails to inspire them to. He also has a Symbiant. His wifes to be exact. I heard she died a tragic death.
They turn the corner and enter the shuttle bay, and thier Delta Flyer sits with it's rear ranp down.

He paces slowly as he sees the Captains Shuttle, and the USS Aurora outside the view port of the lounge. Hoping that the Captain arrives soon.

He arrives at the docking port where the Columbia's shuttle is at, and looks around a bit at the shuttle before he recognizes it as being for Columbia, and is very happy indeed.

I see Lt. Thorne,,never serve under a Trill...I find you never realy know who you are talking too if you know what I mean. So tell me...is the Chief of Security on the Columbia? Because I not sure if I will be doing both posts...security and tactical.
he now see the Delta Flyer.
Does the Columbia has many of these type shuttles?
