She nods to Melina and Kova.
"Shelaas to Avatar, we're at one-quarter impulse, and you're free clear to depart. And may the Guardians guide you safely on your voyage."

She powers up the thrusters as the Orion Flyer gently lifts up, and begins forward motion, and exits the shuttle bay. We are free, and clear to navigate. Setting course, warp factor 4. Engaged. With that the Orion Avatar speeds off on her way to Denias III. Aye sir, that should be in 8 hours.

Before she closes the channel, she looks toward Yuna, for a moment, sending a brief thought to her along the lines of come back safely.
Turning back toward Melina, she looks at her and the viewscreen, seeing the Avatar jump to warp..
"Resume course and speed."
She would then press her com badge.
"Shelaas to Captain Greene. we're about to make the jump back to warp. There has yet to be any news from the Japan, as for any additional information we'd need before our rendevous. It is believed that there's damage or a malfunction at the subspace relay station for this sector."

She listens to LtJG Shelass report.
Have Lt Mylantra contact SB 140. Chances are with the Relay Station still needing repairs some subspace frequency are not getting through.
Her attention returns to the Doctor.
She's a very bright one. Probably will be a Starfleet Captain down the line.

"Yes, ma'am." she responded.
Turning to Kova, she nodded once.
"Contact Starbase 140 and see if they have any word from the Japan, and any idea if there's trouble at the relay station. I'm not that comfortable about flying blindly into this without having extra information, especially a confirmation of their position and status..."

She smirks.
Listen too you?? Booking a vacancy in that chair?
She smiles as she raises the Starbase. As she looks at her console, her smile fades a bit.
The Starbase is sending a repair crew out to the Relay station now. They also lost contact with the Japan, and several other ships in the area. They said as we get closer it should clear.

She nods to the remark about the starbase sending a team in.
"Are you implying I'm thinking just like our captain does?" she quirks an eyebrow at that, though behind her near poker face, she was laughing inside, thinking it a great compliment.
Deep down, she was concerned, especially after their encounter with the Zentradi in the Triangle.. In the back of her mind, she couldn't help but wonder if they could be preparing for another potential attack, given how long they were gone from their proper timeline.

She turns to her.
All I'm saying be yourself Anise. I know how it feels up there. Don't let it go to your head.

"Believe me when I say that my thinking so far is going with my security instincts. Maybe I've been in security for too long, and it's making me a little over protective... Given the choice, I'd rather be overly protective and find out there was no reason to be, than for the opposite to happen."
She had to admit that she'd grown very fond of her shipmates, despite a bit of a rocky start to getting to know some of them. She did not want to see anything bad happen to any of them.
"I'm trying not to let it go to my head, as you say."

She turned back to her console.
I understand, but do me a favor? Send me to the Doctor if I start humming the life form song.
Bust out laughing.

She gave her another quizzical look as she said the 'life form song', and it took a moment to sink in on what she meant, and she joined in on the laughter.
"It's a deal!"

She was still looking at the viewscreen at Anise, before the Avatar launched from the Crusader's shuttle bay, when Anise turnd her head slightly and looked at her. Yuna recieved her silent message to return home safe and she simply smiled at her, promising she would, along with the rest of the Avatar's compliment
She then turned a glance to Commander Teshurr as he went towards the back, handing out orders to Love to launch and she felt the shuttle rise up and looked back to the veiwscreen as the Avatar left the shuttle bay and went on it's 'merry' way.
After the shuttle left, the Crusader went back into warp and resumed her course
