She cracks a smile as she listens to his reply.
Doctor. I know in general your on a ship full of kids. And I read the report that you said, and I quote "Why would they expect me to follow a CO with mob ties.". I guess thats why I like you so much. You hold no punches, But answer me this. If you were so dead set against coming on my ship, then why did you agree?

turns and looks at the other crew member...and he doesn't look to happy.
I will say this once...not again. This is a very important and dangerous mission soooo stop the kids play right here and now! If you can't get the hell off my shuttle and I will get someone else who think this is more then a joy ride....Do you understand me people?
Teshurr then turns so the other don't see his face. Teshurr know he is the one who hand pick this crew...but he figure he better act as "Mr. Hardass". so they don't get too loose on him. Plus Candela would aprove of it...

She raises an eyebrow as she Gazes at him with her Blue glassy eyes.
I'm just sorry we didn't get time to talk before hand Doctor. Would you care for any coffe, tea, Rakajino. Please help yourself
She leans back, and crosses her legs, and hold her mug casually as she takes a sip.
You see Doctor, ever since I've had command of this ship, I have known there are more eyes on me then just Admiral Lucifels. I know she trust me, and rarely has a problem with me. But just as I'm assure the Admiral Gunn has his spies on me, and my own XO turned from me once, that Starfleet Intelligence has an eye on me as well. Hell, who knows, maybe section 31 will find a need for me to be assassinated.

Mike not sure which is worse, dressed down by the Commander, or the gaze he got for Vicky lost his smile, and cleared his throat.
Yes sir. All propulsion system online, and transfering to helm. Sensor and tactical data is uploaded and ready. Transferring to appropriate areas.

Meanwhile in some undisclosed area of space, a Romulan Warbird cruises to points unknown. On board, Admiral Lovok sips on some Romulan ale as he sits at his desk, going over reports when his com chimed. He lightly presses it. Yes CenturionI have a communique for you that is level one encryptedHe places the PADD down on the desk, with an surprised expression Put it through.Admiral. the protocols are not that of the......What part of Put it through you don't understand.Yes...right away .The screen flashes from the Romulan T'al Shiar logo to an image of Juraan. Did Commander Tal'Aura arrive?Yes she did, with less difficulty then as sending this Transmission. Tell me Admiral, are you sure that this crew is as loyal to your cause? My crew is my affair. Has she tested the weapon? No. She just left the facility at Denias IV. Our ship was delayed thanks to a nosey Federation Captain. But he will no longer be a nuiciance. What do you mean?We successfully tested the weapon on him. His ship, and crew were destroed instantaneously. What size vessel?A Heavy cruiser. She went down quickly. We were hoping to try the weapon out on that size craft. Will there be others? In due time Admiral. Yiou see they did get a message off to Starbase 140. And Vice Admiral Gunn should be sending a ship. What size or class is unimportant. All you need is a fresh target. And this is the same weapon you gave to the Tholians.No. The weapon is some 1000 times worse in it's destructive nature. It instaneously solidifies warp plasma. No ship has a defense for this.Lovok grins as he hears the words. And with this weapon we will wipe out the Remans, the Klingon, and then the Federation. The a True Romulan Empire can be reborn.[/b][/color]

"A hot fish juice wouldn't be bad..."
Let's her go on and shakes his head, "I'd tell you that I'm here purely as the ship's CMO, but it's a worthless statement. If I weren't I'd lie about it."

Yuna visibly winced, not only from the look that Commander Teshur gave the rest of the team but also from the empathic vibes he dished out. It took her a moment but she managed to raise a mental shield as her humor dried up like a peice of ice on a hot day
"Yes, Commander" She simply said, then reported "Tactical systems online and showing green across the board. Ready for any hostile action that may occur"
She turned her own back to the group, to concentrate fully on the control board in front of her

Agreed then. Well Doctor, I must admit you are a thorn in my side. But I believe we can help each other on this mission. I'm assuming of course you do know about Omega Directive by your comments in the meeting.

She absent-mindedly starts to play her fingers along the armrests as if she is practicing a piece on piano, as she's not entirely sure what else to do.
"What's our projected ETA with the Japan, including our drop-off point for the shuttle team?"

We can launch the Shuttle within the next 10 minutes. From there it'll be 16 hours until we rendevouz with the Japan at Warp 5

She nods to Melina.
"Alright."
She ponders for a moment.
"What's this about you having a mean fast ball, Melina?"
She tries to take the edge off of her nervousness.

Frowns, "I was briefed on the Omega Directive after that explosion in Cardassian space. Although I didn't end up being assigned to the investigation. Turned out they didn't need me by the time I got anywhere near the place."
Sipping the hot beverage, he leaned back comfortably in the chair. His voice takes on some of the weary it had in the staff meeting. "How about you? Do you feel you posses the the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?"

I have been questioned by superiors before. I remembered they wanted to strip me of my Command for surrendering to an enemy they easily captured 20,000 ship, and starbase personell. If I had to give my life to save them, I would. And I have no qualms at the prospect of doing so.
She takes another sip from her mug.

S/he blushes a bit.
I pitched for the Striker last season. Threw 9 straight no hitters. Until a certain Engineer for SB 140 hit a solo Homerun that won the game.
