Recovering from the blast, she looks at her now smoldering console. Hearing the Admiral.
All localize, and lateral sensors are down. Port relay conduits are offline. All shields are down. Picking up a Federation Transmission on all inter-ship com frequencies ma'am. Steady repeating message.....Expedition.

As the battle progressed, the tholians attempted to trap them in one of their infamous webs but he thwarted every attempt. He was feeling pretty pleased with himself, picking off one web spinner after the other
All of a sudden things changed. A tholian vessel charged and he attempted to intercept it before it reached the ship but he was unable to. The ship hit the weakest part of the shields, getting a direct hit on the aft part of the bridge, nearly throwing him over the railing and into the command circle. Instead he ended up on top of his console, hanging partially down, muttering curses
He scrambled back as he heard the admiral tell him to take that son of a bitch out. He heard M'pel give a report and it didnt sound good "I'll do what I can, Admiral but I've got no tactical sensors, no automatic lock, phasers are shot and getting extremely low on torpedos" As he reported, he loaded a couple torpedos and launched them after the last tholian bastard "I'm shooting from the hip here and the hip is broken.."

Saghi held on tight to her console as the Blast hit. She felt the heat as flying shrapnel stuck her in the back, but nothing major. She tried to bring the ship hard to port, but Lateral controls were very sluggish making the Federation handle like a Giant Whale. The ship starts to pitch as she get some control on her. The Helm is sluggish at best, I'll do my best to protect the straboard side Admiral.

As the debri fly all around her, she ducked under as the Crewman right foot hit her on her back. As she looked up, and sees the fire all around her. She then overhears M'Pels report of a Transmission.
Expedition? What the hell does that mean?

As Medical Technician rush to the Aid of the fallen Crewman, the Admiral smiles a little, and lets out a small chuckle.
Brexen....you fool. Somehow I knew you would come through. Helm, plot a direct course straight for the Tholian Carrier. Best speed.

Without sensors she looks at the left corner and sees a Soveriegn class starship closing on the Carrier as well. Using her mind she calculates that they should make a slight course correction. Saghi, we have a ship on an intercept course. you may want to adjust your heading.

The Federation unleash 3 Rapid fire Torpedoes, as she then pulls hard to Starboard. The Carrier sits as it tries to adjust course. But a broadside blast catches it in midship from the Columbia. The Torpedoes score a direct hit on the Carriers forward Lanch bay doors. The fire frantically at the Federation, missing it barely, then re engage the Columbia, but a set of 4 Photon torpedoes hit the ship Broadside staring a cascade of destruction. The Federation sweeps by and veers off to the Starboard as the Columbia sweeps up over the inflamed Carrier. then a succession of phaser fire starts picking off each Tholian ship one by one. The ungoing display rivaled a fireworks display of enormous proportions. Suddenly the last 6 ships break off and high tail it, as the Carrier engulfs into a huge fireball.

The intercom would beep on the bridge, and the following would come over.
"Columbia to Federation, Admiral? We are standing by to beam over damage control teams to assist with your repairs, and medical teams to assist you with your medical needs."

He heard Meru's comment that now would be as good a time to fire as any just as the Admiral ordered to open fire. He did, tapping the firing key for the torpedo bay launchers, launching 3 torpedos. As soon as he fired, Helm banked to Starboard but with the controls as sluggish as they were, he felt they came within meters of the Tholian hull, close enough to reach out and touch it going by
The Columbia, from the other side, hit them with a full barrage of torpedos, the carrier buckling under the combined fire power. The smaller vessels tried to protect the mother ship, but they were no match for Columbia's phasers
When the carrier exploded into a brilliant fire ball, the other tholians scattered. He pumped his fist in the air "Yes! Take that you bloody basss.." He trailed off, glancing at both the Admiral and the Captain, a bit sheepishly "Um.. Tholian Cruiser destroyed, ma'am, the remaining vessels are in full retreat"
A couple moments later, his board lit up with an incommming hail "Admiral, Columbia calling. Captain Ijoula is wishing to speak with you"

The Admiral held on as the Ship took a high Bank. It rocked as it was being pelted by Fire from the rear, but then it all stopped. The Federation recovered, as it came out of the High bank, and soon leveled off, as one last shudder hit the ship from the destruction of the Carrrier. She was estatic as she watched the screen, and made out the outline of the USS Columbia, mopping up the remaining ships. She would then bank a U turn, as the Admiral announced. The Calvary has arrived. Meru, bring us to a full stop. M'Pel prepare for rescue teams, open us a channel Mr Jensen. As the screen flickered she sees Captain Ijoula. His words echos on everyone's Combadge, in ever compartment on the Federation. The Admiral responds. It nice to see someone remembers how to rescue a ship in distress Captain. We will have a team awaiting your arrival. And Captain.....Thank you.

Admirals Log Stardate 66958.57
The Federation is in tow at Warp with the Columbia as we head back to Starbase 140. T'hpok has rejoined the crew, as we repair systems throughout the ship. We won't have a Warp core until we reach Space dock. None the less, it will be a sad day when the Federation departs, for I will no longer be in command. That will fall to Captain Gomez, as I must take command of the 14 th Fleet. I sent a subspace message to my husband Deragon, and my daughter Cassiopia to tell them I am well. Right now I am on the Columbia, to meet with Captain Ijoula, and Captain Hill as I catch up to speed on what has happened. Maybe then I can figure where Brexen is. I know that she has passed away, but only her symbiont would know the meaning of Expedition. Doctor Ogawa has assured me Mr Pradan will make a full recovery, as well as most of the crew. But the real nagging question is what did Q mean, and what does Captain Greene has to do with this, and why he spared my life.

She was on the bridge, as EC1 Graves, and T'hpok arrived. Repair crews were all around, as the massive clean up was nearing complete.
Petty Officer Graves, Lieutenant welcome home. I heard you had some trouble with the Tholians.

T'hpok stood with his usual Klingon stature as he addresses the Captain.
It would seem the Tholians are indeed seeking us out to destroy us. But the question is why? Other then the weapon they posess, their has to be an instigator.
