Admirals Log Stardate: 66445.32
We have just beamed Commodore Maddox over to the Adelphi, and head into the fray of battle. The Reports from starfleet a grim, as well as dismaying to me. I'm afraid how my crew will react to all this. Many worlds, and Starfleet installation were attacked for one reason or another. But our mission will be no easier. From what Admiral Jameway has told me, we are virtually on our own on this one.ALL BRIDGE AND COMMAND STAFF TO THE READY ROOM PRONTO!

S/he sat bracketed by Solina, and Karlassa. S/he had also been informed that an attack had occured at the Cestus Sector. Hir face was full of some type of anguish, and irritability. As though if s/he was there, all this could of been spared. S/he knew there was no room for these feelings, as s/he tried to quell these emotions hir thoughts were on friends s/he has possibly left behind.

looking to Pormea. I heard 112 Klingon Vessels were destroyed in the initial attack at Archanis. They have a massive ship with a Powerful weapon. They incenerated millions on the planet surface. I wonder if the Admiral will take us to battle against this ship?

Overhearing the converstaion, she also volunteered some more details.
I heard 1,100 were lost on the USS Challenger. Admiral Lucifel may also be dead. Some fear they may of destroyed the USS Federation. The Admiral will not be very pleasant learning of this.

As she entered she could hear all the whispers abuzz, as she assumed her seat she looked to the others as they chat about what may, and may not of happened.
All of this is strictly hearsay for now. I am certain the Admiral will dispell any misinformation, and we should wait for her breifing before adding fuel to the fire.

In her office she went over the reports, with a sadness in her eyes. As she sits, the words resonate through her head about the communication she had just received from Starfleet command. She then Tapped her combage. Op's. I need an Open Frequency to all Ships and Starbases, as well inter shipAye Admiral.[/b][/color] She took a deep breath, and composed herself. This is Vice Admiral Ashley Morgan of the Starship USS Constitution.
Today....will live in infamy. The Combined civilizations of the Alpha, and Beta Quadrant stand united against an enemy who prove gated an attack on their neighbors for no valid reason.
Today, the Tholians, and the Remans, using a new type of technology laid waste to over 1,000 ships. Killed Millions. Destroyed military, and civilian installations. They have attacked and occupied 14 planetary systems. And laid waste to nearly 50 shipyards.
The Romulan, and Cardassian Governments are in shambles as their capitals were destroyed. Many of our friends, loved ones, and fellow officers are dead. Including Admiral Vanessa Ann Lucifel.
By order of Starfleet Command, I have been promoted to the rank of Full Admiral, and placed as Acting Commander in Chief of the 14th Fleet. This is a honor I take with deep regret.
As we speak now, our home port is in shambles. Cestus Ship Yards has been decimated. The USS Challenger.....destroyed in dry dock. Of the 28 ships that fought in the battle, only 2 remained battle ready. We are now speeding to the Archanis system to render aid to the Klingons and uproot the Tholian Occupation there. The USS Columbia will hopefully find the USS Federation, and her crew, in hopes that the Admiral has survived. My standing orders are.
- All ships that are damaged are to be placed in Dry dock, and repaired, and placed back in service immediately.
- All fighting vessels will join up with us in the Archanis system.
- Vice Admiral Maxwell Gunn will assume all fleet operations in recovering data from the Tholians ships, and pass along intelligence to defeat these heathens.
- All Science vessels, and Deep space exploration vessels are ordered to continue their mission. If confronted by any of the enemy forces, they are to do get intelligence of fleet actions, and report. If you have an opportunity to score a blow, then please do so.
I am not worthy of the burden of this command on such a sad date. But mind you all, we will avenge the Challenger, and punish those who saw to her destruction.
Morgan out.

As she walked into the Lounge, the look on everyones face was of astonishment at the Admirals speech. She took her seat near the head of the Table, as she looked at all, with a somber expression. The Admiral will be arriving shortly. I'm afraid, the news about Admiral Lucifel is......lets say.....she's taking it very hard.

Solina sat aghast as she heard the comments of the admiral.
"......How could this happen? I thought we had peaceful, diplomatic relations with the Tholians..." she stammered.
She looked around at her fellow officers and also toward Vatto, feeling an internal struggle with her emotions of grief and also an alarmingly potent desire for revenge against the Tholians for their comrades-in-arms who were lost.

The Tholians have no honor. They see what others have, and calculate how to take it. I believe Cestus IV was the catalyst for this attack.

13 years of friendship. If you ever get a chance, look up the Records on the USS Expedition. Admiral Lucifel design several starships, as well as the Shadow fighters we use today. Admiral Morgan was one hot shot pilot in those days. It was her efforts that made the Shadow fighter what it is today. They were the closest of Friends. Even after the Destruction of the Expedition, she would serve under Admiral Lucifel as her XO. She was her Maid of honor during her marriage to Rear Admiral Lucifel, and Godmother to her Daughter Casiopia. They were very close Lieutenant.

As she came in the lounge, all talk, and chatter ended, as all heads turned to her. Her expression was a bit subdued, as well as her persona of the "Bitch with Brass" could be felt radiating from her. She stood by her seat rather then sit, as she leaned over.
It seems our appointment at Deep Space 6 will have to wait. Just a few moments ago I got the entire Tactical readout from the Klingons. Solina, I want you and Pormea to go over it with a fine tooth comb. Find me weaknesses. And a way to neutralize their weapon.
Archanis had no less then 3 Yards in orbit. All of them were obliterated. They came in with 4 Battle cruisers. Wiped out 23 Klingon ships in their first salvo. Karlassa, this weapon seems to have a different affect on Klingon ships. Rather then simply eviscerating their Warp plasma, it causes the ships integrity to break down. Their ships literally imploded. Find me a reason.
Lieutenant Mitchen are you listening?

It was recorded at each firing of their primary weapon, the Omega molecule was detected for a brief moment.
