Klingon Fleet
By Admiral Ashley Morgan
The Klingon Fleet is far less diverse then the Federation Fleet. There are several class alone built around the Bird of Prey, as well the D-Type that made up the Early fleet. The names are up to the commanders, and Klingon Fleet Ops, but this is the complete list.
Ship/Class
Years/Era Notes
D5 Class
2120-2150 in service until 2290 Cruiser
D7 Class
2146-2260 in service until 2285 Battle Cruiser
D4 Bird of Prey
2125-2145 in service until 2170 Patrol/Scout
Raptor Class
2124-2170 in service until 2260 Scout ship
K'tinga Class
2269-2304 still in service Cruiser
Bird of Prey
D 13 2277-Present Scout
B'rel 2327-2359 still in service Cruiser
K'pak 2345-2365 still in service Light Corvette
Vorcha Class
2347-Present Attack Cruiser
Negh'var Class
2368-Present Battleship
Note about the Bird of Prey, there are more classes then the three listed. For the most part, Klingon ships are handed down throughout a families house, usually a Bird of Prey. Bird of Prey also seem to be numerous in the known Galaxy, especially after major battles. Most smugglers prefer it then other designs, but for our purposes the Klingon fleet has these ships available.

Happy Birthday Candela
By Fleet Admiral Vanessa Ann Lucifel
Lets face it, we all have our favorite characters. The one who poses many minds (apparently men, as well as women), is Candela Greene. At the time she was created I wanted to make her different then Vanessa, but keep some of her attributes. I picked Orion to make her more unique, and to this day, she is the only Orion Officer I know. I also originally made Hermaphrodite, although the switch over from the aforementioned fleet, I decided to just make her female.
Candela has this knack to lie low in the background, and surprise you in the end. She's bright, and knowledgeable, very attractive, and is open to anyone, she doesn't discriminate. She can be attracted to a Ferengi, a Klingon, or a human. Over her One plus years she was married, had a miscarriage, brought down a romulan smuggling empire, and now her greatest accomplishment, Command a Starship. Why her, why not Vanessa?
Candela has been the Model Officer for way too long, as all of us know an Orion woman can disrupt a crew on a starship with ease. Yet she uses her sexuality to improve conditions on a starship (who needs shore leave as long as you got a hot Orion on the ship). The only thing is lack of information on the Orions I had to be inventive. Such as the Rat'huk, a condition that all Orion women suffer every 14 years, and can last for days, weeks, even months (a play on Pon Farr, except for an Orion, it's more like she's in heat). To add a controlling factor, she is half human, thus it leads her to irrational thoughts, and behavior as well.
The true model for Candela would be Bobbi Sue Luther as she appeared on the Enterprise "Borderland". From there her appearance has been tweaked over the year. It's not easy making Green skin, but since her introduction, she has been a staple member in all the fleets she touched. She even had time to explore a same sex relationship with a certain Tactical Officer on the Crusader (Unfortunately it was shot down by the Command Staff in that fleet).
So why this write up? Because, in my wisdom I made her birthday December 3rd. Besides I believe she deserves a write up, after all she is my favorite character. She gets drunk drinking carbonated soda, but can drink Saurian Brandy like its water. If anything she is closest to my real age, I figure Orions would age slower then their human sisters, you got to look good to run a syndicate you know. So Happy Birthday Candela, and my you have many more.

STAR TREK
THE ANIMATED SERIES
By Fleet Admiral Vanessa Ann Lucifel
For those who didn't know, November 28th was Michelle, and my Anniversary. So we went to dinner, and bought each other gifts, one of my presents was Star Trek The Animated Series. I have been a Trekker for a long time, but I may have caught maybe 3 episodes so this was all brand new to me. First of all let me state, yes the Animation was cheesy, and the music rehashed, and colors were terrible, but I loved every second of it.
The Argument that TAS is not canon is hard to believe. We see much more of the Federation, as well as alien species in TAS. True some of the Episodes were utter nonsense, yet some truths came out right from the out set. Everything from Captain Kirks Middle name, to the first Holodeck has been seen in TAS, as well as revisiting factoids that should be used. A sterile Tribble? A love drug? Quite interesting indeed, as well as Captured Orion Pirates. These would make for some interesting Storylines in the future. Even the often used "Beam me up Scotty" was said in TAS.
Either way, TAS has some downfalls as well. If TAS was made by today standards, it would rock! But the 70's use of color, bad post editing, and over use of feline aliens made it somewhat implausible. Pink Adversary ship, and uniforms, and the teeny humor was.....bearable to say the least. Although to see Captain Kirk defend the life of Lucifer was unique. It was Star Trek at it's best (Take that Captain Picard, KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN)! Though the lack of ship battle based episodes hurt a bit as well. What battles they did show were brief, and somewhat uneventful. The Enterprise translated well to Animation, although the beauty shot stretched it a bit. All in all, I suggest you plunk down $45 for it, the 22 episode series is worth it, and will spark the original spirit of Star Trek. True you must look past some very blatant errors made (In the last episode "The Counter-Clock Incident" had the Enterprise cover hundred of millions of Light Years in hours), but the Emmy Award series is worth having.
Great Resource for Star Trek the Animated Series

WE NEED KLINGONS!
The Generation Fleet will be sporting a Klingon Fleet, as of now, we have none. If you know of anyone that's up to the challenge to command a Klingon ship, have them stop by. We take Klingons from all eras, so if they want to Battle the Federation, or seek past glory in the Cardassian, or Dominion war, or join our current struggle.
