It 0530 and the Admiral heads to the Mess Hall...As he waks in he see the place is about 50% full. Small smiles come to his face as he know since Master Chief Petty Officer Sam "Iggy" Ignatowski has joins the crew with his small army of chiefs from all over Starfleet, the number of personal eaten here and not taken meals from repicator have gone up 90%.
Walking through the Mess and heading to his table, Gunn stops and speak to many of the officers and crew of the station. Once at his table...a stward is waiting to take his order.
Bring me two eggs over ez, two slices of whole wheat toast dry, bacon, and black coffee...
Is that it Admiral?
Looks up at the Staward...
No Browne....bring me a fruit cup first...and see if Chief Ignatowski has a few minuties to speak with me.
Aye Sir...I get on you order right away and get the Chief for you

Ten minutes later....Iggy comes out holding a tray...on it is the Admiral breadfast, a pot of fresh brew coffee...just like the Admiral like it and two mugs. Following Iggy is the staward. Placing the tray down, Iggy turns and hands it back to the staward. Now be gone boy...me and the Admiarl have some talking to do...Go!!!
Staward does an about face and heads back to his station.
So Admiral what is it today? Let me guess...it that damn Romulan and her gang of cutthroat?
Iggy smile as he pours out two mugs full of coffe...knowing that he could get away with his little remark.
Gunn is starting on his eggs as he looks across at Iggy.
How did you find out about about the Ambassdor coming to the station?
Thinks a second and shake his head.
Forgot that....and since you know...I want to know how long with it take to get most of the Starfleet repicators program for Romulan meals and by the way what dishes do you know that came be made up fresh for the Amdassdor and her staff? Iwould like to throw a small dinner party in her honor in a few days?
Iggy smile as he alway love to get the Admiral on something..this time the Ambassdor coming. Now setting back.
Well Sir...I guess I can come up with something. But I will need those few days...getting fresh Romulan food stuffs here are going to take sometime....And may I ask...numbers for this meal?
Without looking up from his meal...the Admiral said.
I figure about 100 would be a nice round number...any problem Mr. Ignatowski?
No Sir.....not at all...and once we go over a few other things...I get right on it...Max.
Both men laugh and then for the next hours the two friends talk.

Sipping his coffee as he lisiten to the Captain.
well how hard can it be? Let me seethere isn't more then 100 Orions on the station at any one time. And for the Bindi..I would guess their maybe just a handfull. As for this Dilithium find on Cestus IV...well that becoming the talk of the ststion.

I just hope it's not true. Your remember how Valora III was before the found dilithium?
A virtual paradise. I would go there rather then Risa. Now, it the second coming of Las Vegas, but worse. Open Prostitution. Bounty Hunters. Open nudity in most of the boom towns. The the Granada Lake incident. 764 people infected with Residue Radiation from the nearby mine.

Listen Lara....We all know the reason for that...some big shot back in the Federation had his or her hand in someone elses pocket and turn Valora III into a "latinum mine" for his/her and their friends. And I bet if you dig deeper into this you will find the late Vice Admiral Browe was involve up to his head. Remember Browne personally lead the science team on the planet that discover the dilithium.
Now with our little discover, word has it on the station... that Frankie and his friends may have something to do with all this too.
with that Bull picks up his cup and down the last of his coffee.
Well Captain...I would love to stay and speak with you all day, but the station call and I am needed to fix the new Romulan Ambassdor's food recplicator. Per the Admiral. But if you find you have a few spare minutes...come down to my office...I alway have a pot of fresh coffee..no this stuff.

Entering he see most of the morning shift is here, he stop and speaks to many as he make his way to his table. Once at the table the steward comes over as asked what the Admiral wishes for breakfast.....Two eggs over ez, whole wheat toasted and a pot of Chief's Special Morning brew. But this is the same as everyday, but the steward still know to ask....the Admiral like it that way... Benson has been the Admiral's steward since the Admiral show up here. After giving Benson his order...Admiral Gunn looks up to him.

As they both take their seat...
Well Steph...I have some news for you....early this morning I was inform that three supply ships from Earth have made it throught the attacks and are on their way here. Part of this good news is that on board one of the ships is Lt.Commander William Scott...our new Chief Engineer.....I been told he one of the up and coming officers in StarFleet Corps of Engineer. He will be taking over for Chief Clooney...I know Bull will be thankfull for that.
As he speak the steward comes with their food.
By the way...I see you have put in your names for promotion...Didn't see Ensign Algren name on it? Are you having second thought about if he still going to make it as a pilot or not? If so I can find a place for him is either the Sciene or Engineering Dept. ...Think it over ...don't need you answer now.
