We have came too far to give up now, and like anything I have not. We will be re-launching the fleet, from the moment we last left off. There are a lot of critical moments that are left unresolved, as well as the fact some of us have found out that Role playing has become a lost art, especially when it comes to Star Trek.
The fact is after the movie in 2009, I lost a lot of my Trek spirit. I was disheartened, and somewhat mislead by the powers that be that Star Trek still live and breath. I had to make concessions that Romulus was destroyed, but found it hard to include such nonsense as dark matter. Fact is the movie ruined any prospect I had to explain so I am taking the high road, and making my own explanations. It was foolish to do a ROBOTECH crossover, but after the movie it was a better idea then I thought. So what are the changes? NONE!
Protoculture is just as powerful as ever, the Romulans are hiding a secret, the Tholians and Remans are still at war against us, and yes Admiral Morgan is pregnant.
The Founders are on Starbase 140 as well, and the Aurora is somewhere out there exploring. I'm keeping all that because I can, it's relevant, and unlike that movie no Cadet will be made Captain, and my Vulcans are for the most part VULCANS (except the ones that don't follow the teachings of Surak).
Some may argue Protoculture is obscure as Red Matter, and I'll reply I have heard of Protoculture, why do the Romulans need Red Matter when they have singularities as their warp drives?
OK enough ranting. I need people to check in. Reply, tell me your alive, so we can crew up these ships, and get back to the business of Roleplaying. I will be archiving stories so don't be alarmed if something disappears. The Defense Corp will no longer have it's own thread, and the Korgath is in mothballs as a NPC ship as well as the Sutherland (had to make room).
Lastly the Generation Weekly is gone, and will be replace with the Generation Quarterly. It will cover 3 months and hopefully last longer then it's predecessor.
Please reply to this thread so we can get the ball rolling.
