With the meeting breaking up, she stood a moment and look to the Admiral.
Admiral. This ship will never be the same without you.
noting a smile on the Admiral face and her eying something, she looked confused, and then turned to see T'hpok, and Jensen checking her out, in which she smiled. Hearing Troys request she strolls over.
Lieutenant. How may I help you?

Hearing the Admiral Dismiss the meeting she rose, and headed for the Science station on the Bridge. She was follow by Benjal whom was somewhat attracted to her, but she didn't consider a relationship with him,nor anyone on the ship a possibility. She called up the Data relating on Transwarp hubs on her console, as she feels his prescence.
May I help you Mr Pradan?

The real question is can anyone help you M'Pel. I am surprised the Admiral didn't give the entie project to you, rather then Jensen, and T'hpok.

She raises a eyebrow, as she continued.
The obvioudly if anyone is feeling out of place it would be you. They are to work in the science department, assuming I am the Chief Science Officer I am a part of the team. Question is Mr Pradan, can you add some of your expertise to the mission?

Such as the Admiral thought. You should understand. We all were given a job in this meeting, yet you fail to grasp that reasoning. Your expertise in molecular research can be useful and finding signs of Protoculture in Tholian space. Surely an worthwhile endeavor, and no soubt you get to continue trying to win the affections of the woman you are attracted to.

His mouth gapes a bit, and then turns into a smile, as he raises his eyebrows.
Then I shall endeavor to finding those signatures. But tell me, am I that obvious.

She pivots and turns to Ensign Padan somewhat contritely, as Saghi approached.
Mr Padan, you have been on the ship for 127 fays. of which 121 of those days you have went out of your way to approach me with some illogical, or compromising venue. Which if I break down, 73 diner invitations, 66 lounge invitations, 54 breaskfast inv....

Lets out a chuckle as she stands arm folded behind Bejal.
Seems M'Pel has a fan for life. Bejal, I believe you will never understand at this rate.
We will be entering Tholian space shortly, just wanted you both to know. I hope Starfleet is wrong about this. I hate to be in war with the Tholians.

As he walks to the Turbo Lift, he overhears Saghi's concerns.
The fact is, ever since the late 23rd Century since the Tholians web has been chronicled, they have been enhancing their arsenal. Remember the 2350's? They were using Romulan Plasma Torpedoes, took all of Starfleet by surprise. Seems they are the Syndicates best Arms customers.

Then why not Breen, or Vardassian weapons for that matter. Even Jem'Hadar?

The most logical answer. If we fear it, then they will use it. I'm assuming this stems to Cestus IV. It obvious the information was leaked for this very purpose. To create this conflict, and distract us, from the true enemy.

And who would that be? Who would gain from the Beta Quadrant going to war?

Whom else. The Orion Syndicate. It will be the undoing of the Alliance of 2384. And they are playing with fire. If the Zentradi, and the Borg get caught up in this. Then there will be no winners.
