In the end 19 classes over 225 years should keep the entire fleet busy for awhile. With the addition of the Klingon Fleet, gives the GF a large pool of starships. Unfortunately we couldn't list all the starships available, but if they are considered Cannon, then they can be in the fleet. Ship names are set in stone (sorry folks), unless they are not listed, or the pool of that class has been used already.
Such craft like Runabouts, and Delta Flyers are negotiable. Now next week, we do the Klingon Fleet.

First Step : Star Trek Crusader
By Ensign Victoria Love
On November 19, 2006 at 8:00 pm the Endeavor to continue the adventure began. A small starship left dock at Starbase 140 on way to rendezvous with a Romulan Convoy heading for Gorn space. It marks the successful launch of the Generation Fleets first Live SIM ever. It also announced LtCdr Candela Greene as Star fleets first known Orion Commanding officer. The show up was kind of low at 7, but the performance was great.
The Crusader, a fast refitted Saber Class, is assigned in one of the most active areas of space. With the strife caused by piracy, and the Klingons against to the Romulan alliance, the area is a virtual powder keg. Nonetheless, the Crusader crew is as diverse as it's mission. Teshurr, the Andorian first officer, and Ozmunde von Merr the Phealon Chief Engineer make up the two unusual to match their Commanding Officer. At Operations we find Juliet James, and of course yours truly sitting next to the Amber haired beauty at Helm, and the ships counselor Yuna Tremayne rounding out the first mission.
Candela really had a good feel for the story to unfold, the crew responded well, and as per her orders, we had fun. Unfortunately, the Crusader never met up with the Convoy, and the stories of a rouge Bird of Prey have came to light. Yet she is suspicious about who is aboard the ship, and their actions. Klingons would never stoop to Piracy, nor leave survivors. To make matters worse, the Crusader falls into a trap as it is hit by a temporal mine that left her immobilized. What's to follow? We find out tonight

Star Trek : TOS 1.1
By Fleet Admiral Vanessa Ann Lucifel
When they annouced Star Trek Re-mastered, I was excited. Then scheduling made me disappointed, but I know eventually, there will be a DVD set. For those of you fortunate enough to catch what I call Star Trek 1.1 I know you all are enjoying what you have seen, and for what is to come. Here are some comparison images.
Originally in "The Naked Time," the establishing shot for planet Psi 2000 was simply an icy mountainscape obscured by thick clouds — probably gleaned from stock footage (bottom image). In the remastered version of the episode (top), the scene was rendered with a structure — still obscured somewhat by thick clouds — to represent the science station that Spock and Tormolen beam into in the next shot.
Originally in "The Naked Time," Sulu's chronometer looked like something out of the 1960s rather than the 2260s. In the remastered rendering (top) the spinning dials were replaced with digital readouts, and the antiquated buttons and switches were removed. In addition, in the revised shots, the red lights switched to green when time started moving forward again
The top photo shows a dorsal view of the Romulan bird-of-prey in the newly remastered Star Trek episode "Balance of Terror." The bottom photo shows a ventral view, as seen in the original 1966 episode. Like many of the FX on the Original Series, print scratches occurred from the numerous passes through the camera during the processing of the effect. The remastered version gives us a much cleaner version of the ship, without sacrificing any of the original's look.
The top image is a realistic Earth-like planet as seen in the newly remastered Star Trek episode "Miri."
The bottom photo shows the original shot from the 1966 episode, highlighting the limitations of special effects at the time. In 1966, no shots existed to offer enough perspective to show the Enterprise in its standard orbit, so a rather modest globe was pressed into service.
The original ship's phasers (bottom) were often red, but they could also be a blue beam depending on the episode. Also in the original shot from "Arena," the firing point is higher up the underside of the saucer section. For the new remastered version, the phasers will be standardized as blue, with an origination point closer to the sensor array/navigational dome. And for those with a keen eye for detail, note the blue reflection on the ship, as well as the subtle strobe effect at the firing point.
Newly conceived Gorn ship: Front angles.
One of the nice things about the remastering of Star Trek is that the producers have a certain amount of leeway, given time and budget considerations, to be a bit creative. A perfect example of this is the Gorn ship that was never actually seen in the original version of "Arena," just talked about and implied with a starfield background on the viewscreen.
This is only a sampling, there is much more, all viewable at Star Trek.com. From what I've seen, Star Trek is all new, and hopefully helping the Latest generation of Trekkers to relive the dream from the beginning.

WE NEED KLINGONS!
The Generation Fleet will be sporting a Klingon Fleet, as of now, we have none. If you know of anyone that's up to the challenge to command a Klingon ship, have them stop by. We take Klingons from all eras, so if they want to Battle the Federation, or seek past glory in the Cardassian, or Dominion war, or join our current struggle.
