Engineer's Log Stardate: Unknown
I've been working for days on the refit of the Avenger and what a job it is. I managed to put the ship in normal conditions, noting the upgrades and the changes that are required to keep this 15 yr old ship in tact.
I still think Starfleet Command is nuts for wanting to keep this vessel in tact after 15yrs, but seeing her personally I am starting to see why. This ship is still structurally built well besides all her damages throughout the years and all her systems are still operational although some need total replacement.
I am planning on sending a formal request to Starfleet Command in regards to my requests and my plans. I really don't think they'll have any issues with them, as they gave me the job to keep her running.
In the meantime all systems are operational for the most part and I think she is ready for whatever lies for her mission. I'm hearing rumors about something happening at Starbase 140 so I'm expecting to be launching out soon.

Engineer's Log Stardate unknown.
During the launch out of spacedock, the warp core almost went to breach while I was finishing up her refit ordered by Starfleet HQ. It was a close call. I am now certain that this ship needs more work and I have some ideas as to where to start.
in the meantime the ship is functioning normally and with out issues. I just hope it stays that way.
