With the crew slowly arriving I find myself somewhat nervous as my first tenure as First Officer begins. The Federation is a wonderful ship, and the crew has worked long, and hard to get her launched.
Once again Captain Greene's action have landed in my lap, as we discussed the ongoing situation with the Crusader. The Captain wants us to obtain as much information on the Pirates that the Crusader can provide to us.

The Past hours seem to be like an eternity. The Federation was able to weather the Shockwave, and get systems back up and running. At the moment we are assisting the inhabitants of Cestus 4. Debri from several space docks have been tractored in a large field orbiting the planet, so salvage teams can reaclimate the debri, and hopefully rebuild from all this carnage.
In all 37 ships were disabled, more then 11,000 crew rescued and returned to the planet surface. Yet we have hundreds of others that need more advanced medical care. I hope Starbase 140 can handle them.

We were stalking the alien ship that the Crusader was tracking. The reports from the Striker had me worried. What the computer said is a Scoutship, could pretty much be a Battlecruiser. None the less, the Admiral was not taking any chances after reports that the Striker were fired on.
When the Crusader was hit, she put the ship at Red Alert, and began to assist the Crusader, and send a warning shot at the aliens. Thier reply was more direct, as they launched 10 Torpedoes. We reversed course, and I gave the order to fire at will. To no avail, or weapons were not affective, as their attack left us helpless.

The enemy definately have power on thier side, as they used an Anti-Proton weapon on us. I'm not sure wether it was something I learned in past, or maybe GEM had some knowledge that some 120 years ago the USS Constellation, and USS Enterprise battled a weapon that was describe as a Planet Killer, that used a simular type weapon.
None the less, it left us worse for wear, as we effect repairs, and try to get back in the fight. But the Crusader beat us to the punch, as they made an attack run for the enemy. I suspected they were going to use the EMP Mines they acquired from thier encounter with the Pirates. The Admiral agreed, as we made a hasty retreat. The Crusaders attack was successful, but for how long?

Our ship rendered powerless, and hope of catching these Zentradi fast disappearing. Admiral Lucifel was desperate to ask me about GEM. Ever since the Expedition, I've tried not to use these abilities. GEM can sometimes be very nosey, although always curious about me. Like a friend most time, and a pest other times.
I agreed that the Nanoprobes would be the best way to restore primary systems, and got the ship back in the mix. The Crusader though layed crippled, but thier Captain, although in shock, had been returned. So now we head for the Delta Triangle. One of the most dangerous regions of space ever chronicled.

Admiral Ashley Morgan Reporting.
We pursued the Zentradi vessel into the Delta Triangle. An area of space that no Federation vessel had ventured into in over 100 years. As we approached, spacial anomalies were all about as the vessel disappeared into one. Just then a barrier blocked our path. The entire bridge crew was whisked to a meadow with a glade. Quite beautiful, but puzzling to say the least. We heard a voice, that turned out to be Q, a much younger one at that. He played a riddle with us about the Zentradi, how this so-called attack may have been something other then that, and that we were pursuing the wrong culprits. He also gave us a strong warning to let them go, for if we follow, we would be destroyed. From what I seen of the Zentradi, that was very much possible, for they have been toying with us thus far. We were eventually returned to the Federation, and the Admiral chosen to listen to Q hand head back to SB 140.

We entered the Cestus Sector expecting trouble from the second Zentradi starship. From the reports we had recieved, the Victoria, Striker, and Crusader have engaged the enemy, but we have heard nothing for the past hour. We came in hot, weapons to bear knowing the Zentradi had cloaking technology, but all we initially spotted was a warp trail for a very emense ship. The first true sensor reading were not hopeful, as debri from damged fighters were spotted. Soon we recieved a distress call, from my sister. Luckily we located her and a few other fighters and had them beam over to the Federation. The first ship we spotted was the Striker, she was hit bad. We sent an AT offer to assist Casulties, and get the ship back up and running for tow. The Admiral wanted me to prepare a second team as we closed on the Crusader. I selectec Lt Rol'yat, and Ensign Vatta to accompany me. As we made our way to the Transporter Room, I recieved a comm from the Admiral, to arrest Captain Greene.

With the fleet returning to somewhat normal, we must face the hard facts of the accusations made about Captain Candela Greene. I have hard feelings on this subject. Me and Candela have been friends since the academy. The thought that she may be compromised by these Zentradi are absurd as far as I'm concern. Admiral Lucifel had her escorted from the Star Base Brig in hopes she can answer some questions on what is going on here.
Her abduction was somewhat looked as purposed, as well as her action to surrender. But the fact is, she probably saved us all from the hands of the Zentradi. As far as the clone? We have to figure out why she is here. If Candela is correct, the Pirates will show their hand soon. The Admiral and I came to the conclusion that Candela isfit to return to duty, but she wants Candela to remain in the brig for now, and try to get as much information from Nova as possible.

Star Date 64462.7
Seems no rest for the weary as our meeting on Star Base 140 was interrupted after the Orion Pirate Commander Nova had escaped. We traced a Ion signature believing it was a cloaked ship, possibly containing her. We went in pursuit, but were lead into a trap. Apparently they were planning on this situation, and had an unmanned Orion Marauder attack in order to make their escape. A quantum torpedo put an end to that, and soon we were back on their trail. But they brought 2 more drones along, this time with vastly superior fire power. Causing some damage to the ship, we got the upper hand on them, but the prisoner escaped.

First Officers Log Star Date: 64482.27 The Admiral had arranged for the USS Crusader to rendezvous with us in the Ramun system. After loosing our quarry, the escape prisoner, she know that one of these lesser explore outlying systems had to have the Pirates main operations in this are. It is her hope to coordinate with the Crusader for a system by system hunt for the Juraan. All was going well until 2 Klingon BOP broke up the Party. We coordinated or attacks, but the BOP were busy separating us. Ensign Vatta was key in disabling the ship, as well as the helsmanship of Lt FetchStorm. Wit the BOP disabled, I beamed over with a security team on a information gathering mission. By the time we arrived, the pirates had began self destruction. We fanned out as we went searching for the Computer core. Lt Drek found it, along with a trilithium bomb, and 40 seconds on the counter. END TRANSMISSION
