From the Desk of the Fleet Admiral!
I'm sorry for the past few weeks. I have been suffering from complete exhaustion, as well as home problems, and dealing with taxes. None the less the fleet is still here, and so am I, and I have a few announcements.
Lt Juliette James will also be helping editing the weekly, hopefully we will not be skipping anymore weeks. The change in my schedule, has also caused a change in the schedule for the USS Federation, that will now SIM on Mondays at 8:00 pm starting tomorrow. Coming soon will also be a new 3D Animated series, Star Trek Crusader : The Deception. This will star all current crew members on the USS Crusader on an adventure that is in line with our current Story Line.
This will be the first in a series of 3D series, with the Crusader, Federation, Victoria, Striker, Korgoth, and Star Base in them as well. There will be 2 versions, PG-13, and Unrated for viewing, as soon as I figure out how. So even out of action, I've been busy as well. I want to thank you all for being there.

Crusader 3D!
USS Crusader NCC-51492
So, how do I create those wonderful images of the Crusader? Actually, I do half the work. Back in 2005, I came across DAZ Studio 3D. At first it was curiosity that drew me, but my desire to create art was the main purpose. Believe it or not, I'm a terrible artist when it comes to the human form. Otherwise drawing and me love each other. Over the years I concentrated on doing Avatars for members, and finding Star Trek Uniforms, in the end I had to make the uniforms. Vanessa was the first character to wear the homegrown uniform. Over the years, I found the female uniform, but male uniforms have eluded me, in the end, all the males wear the home made uniform.
Rey Drek sporting the home grown uniform. Notice no texture.
Finally, a friend on one of the many forums I'm in gave me to a link to a page where I found textures for female uniforms. It cost some money to do, but after looking at the results, the cost was justified.
With these two elements added, and my persistence in asking you all for renders, making the crew was easy, now making props? That was another problem. An all out search on Renderosity lead me to X2000. He provided most the interiors for the Crusader. Other resources gave me Beds, Tables, Computers, Replicators, etc. But what about the ships? They are all from Starfleet Command III. Most of these renders include different classes such as Nova, Akira, and Sovereign to name a few.
The USS Federation, and Star Base 140, as well as the USS Striker via Starfleet Command III
With all this, and some good ole story telling, I was able to start this series, as well as bring it to life. Also the USS Crusader will be getting a make over as well, more to follow on that.
The Crew of the USS Crusader. L-R Vick Love, Teshurr, Candela Greene, Juliet James.
The New, and Improved USS Crusader.
After the damage suffered from the shockwave in Starbase 140, the Crusader had went under some new modifications. The 11 Deck frigate will have more bite, and more creature comforts. One big change is 2 Holosuites have been added. Also one mess hall, has been converted to a lounge. These modification have been documented in a new page, as of yet they haven't been posted to a link, but every starship in the fleet will have a page as well.

WE NEED KLINGONS!
The Generation Fleet will be sporting a Klingon Fleet, as of now, we have none. If you know of anyone that's up to the challenge to command a Klingon ship, have them stop by. We take Klingons from all eras, so if they want to Battle the Federation, or seek past glory in the Cardassian, or Dominion war, or join our current struggle.
