Max is waiting in his ready room for a report to come in from Master Chief Clooney.
As he is waiting he gets a message from the OPS Deck that a Starfleet transport as drop out of warps and is waiting to get an ok to land at the base.
Max is inform that this transport holds a Battalion and a company of Marines. They are the replacement for the Marines that are on the station now. Max is given a head count of 650 Officers and enlisted on board thed transport.
Max tell the communication officer on the bridge to contact Captain Naur and to tell the Captain of the transport that they have permission to land at Starbase 140.

Master Chief....I need you to get the following deck up and working before those Marines get off loaded...you understand!
Deck 2259 These decks will be for Marine Officers, and Holodeck 121-134 for Marine use only
Decks 2260 - 2270 Marine training ground
Decks 2271 - 2297 Marine Quarters, Mess Hall, Gymnasium, Equipment and Weapon Storage.

I am sorry we are not ready for you. By the order I got..you are two week early.
If you give me two hours..I will have your decks and quarters ready for you.
McDowell answer...
No problems Sir...I will passed the word that we start off load at 1700 hours...McDowell over Sir.

Admiral Gunn....Master Chief here.... I have been down on decks 259 to 2297 getting things ready. We are working on the Environmental Systems right now.
We have the Life-support Sytems up and working at 90%. So if you want those jarheads to come to their new home...Well Sir...bring them onboard. I will contact once we are done Sir.....Clooney over.
With that Bull get back to work calculate the atmospheric generation. Bull cleck the filters and carbon dioxide scrubbers. Looks at the engineers that are working on this deck with him.
Well people I think we have this deck at 100%...and those Marine Officers will find everything the Admiral promise them...Let's head down and hepl out on the decks 271 to 2297.

Major McDowell has called a meeting for all the officers and senior Staff NCO's. Once everyone has gotten the the transporter main cargo bay, the Major starts the meeting.
Gentlmen...I have called this meeting to tell you that we off load onto Starbase 140 at 1700 hours...that is 1 hour and 27 minutes from now.
At 1630 all officers will disembark the transport and heads to deck 2259 to store their gears. At 1650 you will meet up with your companies and with you senior nco.
At 1700, we will start to disembarking from the transport. Gentlmen I want this to run by the numbers....I don't want the Commander Admial Gunn to think that 650 cowboys and cowgirls have landed.
McDowell know that the "Ghostrider" may get alittle out of control sometime...but they still are one of the best in the Corps.
Sgt. Major Jones...please watch Beta Company personal...
At that point all in the cargo bay break out in a laughing and many smiles
Aye Sir...I will...It won't be like Minning Colony 265.
The Sgt Major nods to the Major McDowell.
But to the talk....all enlist will disembark at 1700 as plan. They will billed on decks 2271 to 2297.
I want all our marine and our gears store by 1900.
I been told that the mess hall on deck 2284 will held up to two battalions at one time. And Admiral Gunn has told me that we will have a good home cooks meals for everyone... I will tell him that at 1930 we will be looking for that meal
So Gentlmen we have alot of work to do and no time to do it..So lets get to it!
With that all the officers and nco's stand as Major McDowell walks out. The Sgt. Master then barks out....
DISMISSED!!!!!!
