She looks over the MDS for the station, as all reserve tanks are at 100%, and all energizes are at optimal performance.

She looks over to Bull Clooney, still chewing out one of the engineers fo loosing his Laser welder. She understands his nature now. It's stupid blunders like that, that can get us all killed.

With his back to Ensign Mintos Bull is having one of his friendy talk with a crew member

Listen Rothman next time I find this welder and your hand isn't on the other end...I going to sticke it so far up your butt and everytime went you open your mouth... you will be able to use it.... Now get out of my face and back to work.

With that Rothman take off...Bull just shake his head. As Bull turns to get back to what he was doing, he see Ensgin Mintos...and know she see just what happen. Bull then calls out...

A fine young man that Rothman is...Going to one hell of an engineer someday.

Relax Mr Clooney, loosing a Laser welder is a serious charge. Me myself would of made a report to the Admiral.

I doubt that would help Mr Rothman. I like your style, kind of remind me of an Engineer I worked with. Crewman Lowell, we called him lefty. He use to mess up frequently.

A few times we'd find him Duct Taped to the Warp Core, or a Column.

Well Ma'am....I believe that we take care of things in our own house first, if that doesn't work...then we start going up ladder...That would mean going to you first Ma'am. But what I see so far Ma'am, you have some good people here. Some like Rothman...need some work but I could see an engineer in those eyes...Just need to find a way to get it out.

Those who knew Bull on the station will see a big change in him about officers. Bull who never though much of officers..As he figure they were only good to point and give orders. Bull called then "collar" and if they weren't of command rank...Bull didn't speak to them. But now he a very change man. This is a man who once told his ship Captain , "where to stick it and how to do it" went told to leave engineering with a warp cord breach. Now the same man saluted junior officer and even cadets.
As the story go...Five yeas ago Bull was ask to help out of with a crew of cadets that were doing a training mission. The Offlical reporder tell that the USS Beowulf was hit but a unknown object that disable her. Of the crew of 23 cadets and four Starfleet officer and personnel. They lost 16 cadets, CO, XO, and CMO. Only Bull and seven cadets were found alive four day later. In Bull reported he tell of being attack by an unknown vessel and that Captain Alice White did everything she could to stop the attack. None of what Bull wrote in his report ever got to the Offlical Report. Starfleet order Bull to never speak on what happen on the Beowulf, as for the seven cadets...Bull heard that all seven left Starfleet. But Bull has been a change man since then and if you are wise...never bring up the USS Beowulf to Master Chief Clooney...not if you looking for a whole lot of trouble

0700 an hour before his shift start Bull walks into engineering offices. He nods and speak to some of the enlisted that work the grave yard shift as he head to see Senior Chief Willian "Wild Bill" Whitcher. A very old friend of Bull. Bull walks into the office and goes right to the replicator for a cup of coffee.

So Bill how did this "bucket of bolts" run last night?

Will Bull thing went good till about 0634, I got a report from the OPS deck..it was from the Communication officer..

Aye...it was from Lt. Mercer...she was saying that they were have problems with signals...I figure something may have hit the subspace antennas maybe the Gamma Ray Telescopes. That it.
By the way..you should stop by the Mess Hall and take a look at Lt. Mercer...she blonde and they are this big.

With that Wild Bill bring his hand about a foot off his chest to show the size of of her breasts and then laugh.

It now 0815 and Bull has taken over his duties a Senior Engineer for the Alpha shift. He has gone over all SCPO Whitcher reported for the night and had sent the off to Lt. Mintos.
He now get ready for fixing the problems with the signling that Chief Whitcher told him about.
Getting from his desk he walks to the door and lean out.

Dunkin....get me the follow engineers...lets see Posey, Thrawn, Grendel..I will need two more...that new girl Crow and my best little buddie Rothman. I want then to meet me at deck 2315 just outside the supply. tell them we are going to do alittle outside work.

With that Dunnkin get on the comm and get those that Bull is asking for. Bull close his office and stop by his comm person....

Franchie....if anyone looking for me. Tell them I an talking alittle walks through the subspace antennas farm. I should be back in two hours maybe 3. If they need me just have then contact me ..please.

Frenchie nods and make a note in her log went the master chief left the offices 0826...she smiles as Bull walks for the tubolift.
As Bull walks by Dunnkin, he lean down to speak to him...

Dunnkin..is it true about Lt. Mercer...you know what I am speaking about.

Chief....just stop by the MessHall...you see it's all true. You heard the old earth saying..."if she fell over board ...she wouldn't sink"

1013...Bull is getting off the turbolift on deck 2315 and heads to supply. Once he turn the corner he see what is now being called "Bull's Pups". the four biggest screw up in what many may say all of Starfeet. For this day it is newly arrive crew member Engineer 3 class Annie Crow bad luck to be through in with them. Bull start out with alittle speech.

Good morning boys and girls. I see we all make it here this bright morning. Mr. Posey, Ms. Thrawn, Mr. Grendel, and lets not forget Mr. Rothman. I see we have a guest who is joining the club today...and you are?

Knowing it was Crow...Bull wait for her answer.

Master Chief Clooney...I am Engineer 3 Class A. Crow.

Now you other...you see this is what I want to hear when I ask you who you are.

Bull smiles and now pointa to Posey..

looks over at Rothman and wonder what going to come out of his mouth. Bull has started to learn that everytime Rothman speak its alway an adventure.

Engeneer 3 Class J. Rothman

Rothman is about to say something but Bull cuts him off.

Today...we are going to go do some working outside. This is a very simple mission. We walks out and fix some antennas. It should 1-2-3. We will work in two party. Crewman Posey will lead group one. That will be Thrawn and newbie Crow. You will be doing testing on all subspace antennas...work with comm officer on OPS on that. You may need to realine some of the signal.
Grendel and Rothman..you to get the honor of working with me in the Antennas Farm fixing any broken equipment we find.
Posey...cleck out what equipment that you will need to do testing on those signals.
Grendel...here a list of parts we may need..have the Supply Chief beam them to deck 2385 storage bay 23 thur 26.
Once this is done...sign out what tools you will need, and get your EV suits.
After that meet me on deck 2390 at 1100 for cleck out...let get moving people!!!

With that Bull walks into supply to get EV suit.
The other starts to go in and then stop..as the four other looks over to Crow. Posey speaks to Rothman..

Hey Jay...ask her what she did to become part of us?

Posey smiles as he wait for Jay to speak. But Crow speak first.

What are you talking about? I just got here yesterday and they told me this morning to report here?

Jay looks to Annie and speak.

we just want to know what you did to get in our little group?

Crow is taken back by what Jay just said.

hey..I am 6 weeks out of Starfleet engineering training..this is my first assignment. What group?

As the five walks into supply to get what they need, Crow can't make out what is happen to her. But she does know that she will need to speak to the Master Chief very soon.

1030.....Bull is dress in his EV suit. He is holding his helmet and gloves. Taps his comm badge .

Comm..this is Chief Clooney over....

Clooney..this is Ensign Nelson...what you want Chief.

Got a report about a weak signals coming in...How are they now?

Durning this time, Ensign Nelson does a quick cleck of his console...

Chief..log show at at 0230 thur 0500 Lt. Mercer reported six of the incoming messages didn't get thur.But at 0515...all six messages were recieve.

As Bull starts to head out of the Supply office...Crew person Crow comes up to Bull..

Chief..could I ask you something...

Well Crow ..you aren't part of them...I just needed to have 5 people for this mission.

With that Crow walks ways feeling alot better.

Clooney and his repair team has gotten to Deck 2390. Before they all go through the airlock...Clooney makes sure he goes over everything...most safely

Okay ...lets get thou helmet and gloves on...an make sure you have someone else cleck you out...I don't want any mistakes out there... Rothman get over here so I can cleck you out..I know I will find something..open or turn off..

with that the six member start going over each other equipment to make sure they were all ready.

next...let make sure that are gravity boots are on and working.

With that they all turns on the boots...you can hear the boots lock onto the metal plate deck...

And now...let's turn on our life support units

This unit contained the essential for survival: communication equipment, oxygen, EV control, power supply and an extra oxygen hose that made it possible to share oxygen.

Clooney does a once over on all his so call "Pups" and then open the airlock.

Ok...I am going out first...Posey take your testers over to the control testing panels... Glendel and Rothman...just follow me ...lets hit it engineers..

With that the six members starts out into the dark cold space that surround the station. Within 3 hours all systems are realine and several parts replace in the Antennas Farm. Clooney think the "Pups" did darm well this day. he see that they are finaly working as a team...not just four lost souls...and maybe he will just keep Crow with his group...it looks like she work well with them and they work well with her.
