From the Desk of the Fleet Admiral!
I am truly sorry for the delay for posting the Weekly. A string of problems have befallen me, and I have been coping with them. Otherwise we have been busy. A flood of new members have even gotten the Federation ready for it's first SIM, as well revitalized our on going SIM's. The Crusader continues to write the history for the fleet, and Star base 140 is the meeting place of all the characters.
Yet another new addition is the USS Korgoth, that is commanded by Rear Admiral Kempec. The Korgoth will be a Federation/Klingon crew, and an important ship in the sector as well. Although the call goes out for more Klingons, and more men to join the GF, we are still doing nicely.
Over this time Commodore Gunn has been promoted to the rank of Admiral, as well as Major Jake Marone, and Lt Rukani Lilana. Yvette Mintos, Karlassa, M'Pel, Mylantra Kova, Norelle Parma, and Jezra have all joined the Fleet (from one member go figure). Other new members include Sebastian Coal, Karin Aidair, Jenn Asagiri, Juliette Jurot, Troy Jensen, and David Harman. So as you see, thinks have been busy.
Once again, I am sorry, things have been hectic over here, and I still need help to push the weekly out, but I promise to do my best to keep the GF going.

What we missed?
Since our last newsletter the Crusader has went missing on orders by Fleet Admiral Lucifel, in hopes to catch a Pirate ship. Hidden in a convoy out of Neesik IV, the Crusader indeed encounter a ship, only problem it was itself. The Pirates assumed the appearance of the Crusader, and strafed the Convoy. The Crusader pounced, and went on the offensive after an image of Captain Greene demanded that they surrender.
Meanwhile, Admiral Gunn was busy with finding the Crusader. Fleet Admiral Lucifel ordered him to launch the Screaming Eagles to protect the Convoy, and not to worry about the Crusader. Meanwhile Lt Kramer is still in contact with some unseen contact, as he scrambles to look for the Crusader. Lt Morgan, and Major Marone are sent out to look for the Convoy, as the new Chief Engineer, Ensign Mintos arrives.
The USS Korgoth goes Operational, as crew begin to arrive, Lt Rol'yat serves as First Officer for Rear Admiral Kempec. Upsetting news from the Klingon High Council is reported as the get wind of the USS Crusader attacking the convoy, but the reports are sketchy at best. Even so the Screaming Eagles pick up an explosion, and alter course to investigate, that's when the dubious surrender transmission is picked up with Captain Greene's image.
If you got this far, you are mostly caught up, if not, read the post in the Forum, things are heating up.

WE NEED KLINGONS!
The Generation Fleet will be sporting a Klingon Fleet, as of now, we have none. If you know of anyone that's up to the challenge to command a Klingon ship, have them stop by. We take Klingons from all eras, so if they want to Battle the Federation, or seek past glory in the Cardassian, or Dominion war, or join our current struggle.
