The Return of Trek!
By Fleet Admiral Vanessa Lucifel
Forty years of untapped resource had to escape sooner or later. With all but one Star Trek series on television, 2006 had shaped up to the return of Trek, but 2007 holds a new surprised. On Monday January 8th, Enterprise comes to the Sci-Fi Channel.
From all the bad rep that Enterprise got, none the less it is canon, and this makes it a resource to be tapped. The adventures of earths first leap into interstellar space travel has it's niche in he Star Trek Universe. Many good episodes are in this 4 season gem, and who knows, maybe a repeat of the classic as it goes into syndication, it may very well start another Trek insurgence.
Not to be top, because we dropped the ball on this last week. Star Trek Voyage comes to Spike TV. The Adventures started with a week long Marathon, and then on January 2nd, the adventure had begun. Voyager is refreshing as it's premise, and early missions show a Captain that will try anything to get her crew back home. Voyager was a creative license that validated the post Roddenberry Star Trek production. The success of DS9 was eclipsed by Voyager, and Voyager stands as our last glimpse into the 24th Century, as well opens up many possibilities to come.
Unfortunately, I know of no one showing Star Trek the Animated Series, but if it does happen, all of them will be on air in one season. Wouldn't that be cool. Although times change in Areas, here is the List.

The year has begun, and we come off an exciting board SIM that will set up the next missions for the Crusader, and Federation. But suppose you were enable to participate in the Yuletide SIM? Lets recap what happened.
On Crusader day, Lt Von Merr and various crew members were trying to be pleasant to their Romulan guest in the Galaxy Bar and Grill. The Romulans had other plans as Commander Teshurr is drawn into a brawl that would see Klingons, Yridians, and Nausicaans join in as well. Meanwhile Captain Greene had a meeting with Commodore Gunn that would confirm her belief about a spy on the station. The Commodore has reservations that Captain Greene may have to go undercover into the Orion Syndicate to solve these acts of piracy.
While this is going on LtJG Love, and LtJG Morgan are flying the Joan of Arc over to the Crusader, when they hear the reports of a Brawl on the mezzanine. By the time they arrive, all that's left is the damage, and an angry Orion captain. With Teshurr, and Von Merr in the Brig, the Crusaders liberty is called off. Lt Kramer has his hands full as he tries to assess the damage to the Bar, then receives a communication that Read Admiral Kempec is on his way to Starbase 140. Knowing this complicates things, he sends Lt Lilana to tend to the Admiral, and afford some time to get off an encrypted transmission.
Ensign Amber Livingston questions Cdr Teshurr, and Lt Von Merr about the brawl, and soon release them to return to the Crusader. She then goes to the Galaxy Bar & Grill to check on the progress in repairs. Captain Greene would return, and be somewhat suspicious in her actions with Frankie. She would follow the pair to the back room, where she gets an earful about planted data chips, and flying accusations of who is the real spy. Candela knowing that they are obviously being framed that if they didn't work together, we'll never get to the bottom of this. Frankie, and Amber concur as Candela continues her investigation as per Commodore Gunn's orders.
Rear Admiral Kempec arrival on Starbase 140 was a shock, and inconvenience to say the least. He brings news of stolen ships, and Klingon ships attacked by a Federation Starship. Wanting revenge for these attacks, he hoping his Vorcha Cruiser can be deployed in the endeavor to find these pirates. He would also like to use Starbase 140 as a base of operations for his Klingon Liaison office.
To all that participated, you will receive 50 Karma Points in making an interesting SIM during the Holidays/

WE NEED KLINGONS!
The Generation Fleet will be sporting a Klingon Fleet, as of now, we have none. If you know of anyone that's up to the challenge to command a Klingon ship, have them stop by. We take Klingons from all eras, so if they want to Battle the Federation, or seek past glory in the Cardassian, or Dominion war, or join our current struggle.
