Carina turns as she enters the Mess with Carolyn, and Angela. She stops as she hears Angela say' Time to get to know our new Captain.
Well keep us posted then. He kind of cute. She smiles as she then looks to Carolyn. Lets find our seats. I see Matt is late again.

She listened as she enters the Mess. Somewhat scanning the room for Matt, and noticing he had not arrived yet.
I believe he's showing the new Tactical officer around. He'll be here shortly enough. Then Carina, and her found their table, and took a seat as a crewman set their utensils.
So, did you meet the Captain yet?

Not formally, but I heard about him. The man is a real Cowboy I heard. I wonder if he has some Xenian in him. Very smart, and great Tactician from what I told. But the real clincher is is diplomatic skills. Trust me he's no Jean Luc Picard.

He enters the lounge as he makes his way over to Carolyn and Carina, he takes a seat, and gives Carolyn a sweet peck on the cheek. Sorry ladies, it seems Doctor Chase is living up to her reputation again.

He tends to use a hands on approach. Somewhat questionable in his actions as well. I would think thats why the Admiral wanted him on the ship. If there are new civilizations out there you want someone that can walk the walk. Just then Matt joined them.
I doubt it Matt. She probably took him on the scenic route to the Mess hall. I'm sure they both must be hungry by now. Just then the doors slide open and she sees Evelyn, and Brody enter. Ahhh there they are now.

As Commander D'Amico walks over to the table...the Captain stands up.
Yes...you may .....by now I started to think my First Officer was going to stand me up.
A small smiles come to his lips . The time is 1926. But the Captain figure D'Amico showing up late is alot better then her not shown up.
Please have a seat...I see the place has pick up since you walks in...
Looking about and see thr other from their shift starting to come in.
So Commander...since you know what best here....what good to eat? I haven't eaten since breakfast.

She smiles a bit at the Captain query as she only had toast and a Cup of Rakajino herself.
Well, believe it or not, we do have a cook on board, and I have a supply of Brown eggs from Earth I recently received from my Fiance. I think we can break with dinner protocol and have a Western omelet?

Honestly. We are pretty much a family on this ship. Carina, Doctor Chase, and myself have served the longest. As a matter of fact, I belive only Cutle, and Davidson are the only 2 that have never served on this ship. Although we are still down a Security officer.

Well on this first mission, we'll need need to do without that secruity offcier. By the way they got us out of Starbase 140. It looks like something was about to happen there. I will contact Admiral Lucifel once we are underway.
Now Commander give me a little heads up and some of the "family" here on the ship. I'm still trying hard to place the names with the faces. I must say this....It's alot easlier on a ship this size then the last few I was on.
Ryan is trying to get a feel for his "Number One". He learn along time ago in Starfleet....that a good first officer is worth his/her wieght in gold.

Just as their meal was arriving she began. Well Lieutenant Abia, the Operations Officer/Science Officer. She has alot of experience on this ship. This is her original post. One of the few alien species on the ship. She's a Joined Trilled. She has a natural curiosity about her, and is quite a problem solver. She also posesses symbiant. One her latest curiosities has been a Personal Mobile Holographic emitter. Unable to access the information from the Voyager missions, she has spent several years developing several working models. She says she's not ready to release it to Starfleet, but I believe she's afraid she will be reassigned. She also served as Acting First Officer on a number occasions. My personal belief she would be an excellent second officer.
LtJG Carolyn Teeves. A real fireplug. Any emergency in Engineering, she can handle it. Despite her small size, and her firery attitude, she is quite familar with every system on this ship. She served under Commander Valenti for 6 years. Upon his retirement last year, he handed her the spanner wrench as it were, and she has fitted in like a glove. Despite her complaints how this ship was put together, don't let it bother you. I think all Engineers are cranky.
Doctor Eveleyn Chase, well first off yes. She is the same Evelyn chase that the media on earth have been clammering about. Despite reports of "Sexual liasons", I believe the media is just fueling the fires. I believe she is one top notch surgeon, and a more then qualified Officer. She's been on the Aurora for the past 8 years and has performed stellarly. Admiral Chase himself has kept tabs on her up until a few years ago. I guess he finally figured out that she's not the spoiled brat that the media makes her out to be.With that she pause to take a bite of her Western omlette.

She takes a sip of her coffee as she goes on. Lieutenant Junior Grade Cutler. Bridge officer from the USS Norfolk. I was thinking of grooming her for Security. She seemed to score high in every area but excels in the command dividion. I'll see how she does for the first few missions before I assign her if you agree Captain of course.
Matthew Kennedy, Flight Con officer. He was our last Bridge officer. Showed to be an excellent pilot. Flown fighters in the past. Seems to handle the ship like a Personal all Terrain Vehicle. Ge also has landed the ship a few times in Hazardous conditions with a flare. He seems to like challenging situations. And I believe an affair with Lt Teeves. No fret, they are adults, and rarely do either of them shirk their responsibilities for the other. If only more relationships could be like that on this ship.
I have very little on Lieutenant Brody Davidson. His record is impeccable from the USS Cosair. Served on her for 8 years. Quite competent with weapon systems. seems like a natural fit.

Well thanks you for your report on thoe bridge officers...I will go over each and everyone jacket. As for Cutler....she can be alittle bull headed....but she does have the making of a fine Starfleet Officer......So now Commander....what your story? I only know you were pass over as commander of this ship for me. And since I haven't readed anything about you....tell me a few things.
Again Ryan picks up his cup and drinks down the last of his coffee.
