Having come off-duty on the bridge, in her capacity as temporary first officer, she decided she needed to unwind.
Approaching the holodeck, she had a good idea to help her do just that, and touched the panel for the holodeck controls.
She had not planned her next recital yet, and decided she could use this time to practice.
"Please enter program." came the computer's response.
"Load program Shelaas-Delta-Four-C."
She would then hear the computer chirp at her as it accessed the program.
"Program complete. Enter when ready."
Anise smiles as the doors part, and the concert hall awaits her on the other side of the doors.
She makes her way over to the grand piano and glances toward the large organ, which had nearly crystalline-looking pipes showing. She couldn't explain why it was, but she was attracted to the massive instrument. Perhaps it was because of the majestic sounds she's discovered that she can pull from it. As majestic as the sounds she could create with the organ, she wanted to practice something special for her next recital.
Sitting down on the piano bench, she touched the controls on the screen where the music holder would be, and called up some music for a piece that she wants to learn to play and how to sing it, which would be quite the daunting challenge for her to do with an audience present. She was not very confident in her singing ability, though.

It had been more than three weeks since Anise found some serious downtime from her duties to be able to enjoy herself. For starters, she was grateful to be in a bright, light lavender casual outfit, as she was beginning to think her uniform was stuck to her. She went to the holodeck again and thought about what program she wanted to run. The last time she was here, she had been working on a musical piece for a future performance. Granted, she still didn't feel that her singing ability was that good, but she thoroughly enjoyed playing music.
Approaching the holodeck terminal, she glanced at the listing on the monitor.
"Computer, load program Shelaas-Delta-Four-C."
She paused as the computer chirped back at her as it complied with her request.
"Program complete. Enter when ready." came the computer's feminine voice.
She smiled as the doors opened to her, and stepped in.

Anise would make her way toward the stage and then to the grand piano. Sitting down on the bench, she would touch a control on the display screen where the music stand was, looking for a piece that she had been humming all afternoon.

Having remembered the captain's statement about the ship's music library being "stale" of late, she figured she'd record a few selections that she had previously played for concerts for her. She had also provided a visual and audio recording of her first recital since coming aboard the Crusader to the captain, hoping it would give her something to help give her some peace from their last mission.
She picked out a few pieces from her own childhood that helped soothe her when she was upset or nervous about something, and started recording them for the captain.

Coming back to the Crusader from the starbase, she makes her way back to the holodeck. She had already sent the items she purchased to her quarters and will unpack them when she feels like it... She was still in her lavender-colored outfit that she had worn over to the starbase, and she had recently adjusted her hairstyle to be in a ponytail.
She loaded up her music hall program again, and made her way toward the stage. She had music on her mind, some of which she'd heard on the starbase, and she wanted to work on preparing for another recital for her shipmates.
Ascending the steps to the stage, she made her way over to the organ and sat down at it. She did not turn on the screen for music display, but rather let the music she felt flow through her hands and feet as she started to play a very lively tune.

Anise finished her practice, and having saved the program, she went to the mess hall as she was getting hungry.
